Software Engineer

Job Description:

Developing front-end mobile and responsive web applications using TypeScript, React and React Native.

Coordinating with the design team on tailoring UI/UX designs to assess technical feasibility and optimization for a user's app experience. UI components are then transformed into cross-platform components with Storybook.

Conducting continuous Integration/Deployment Pipeline Integration, pull requests, code reviews, and unit testing with Jest and Testing Library.

Monitoring mobile production issues, and devising solutions to resolve with Firebase Crashlytics.

Spearheading technical design documentations for Higi's cross-platform features, which include addressing the business problem, writing solution proposals and alternatives, implementation steps, and QA guidelines.

Documenting application procedures and architectural standards to streamline better onboarding and debugging processes.

Co-led planning and development for Ecobridge's web application, using NextJS, Styled Components, and AWS Amplify.

Defined API routes and database schemas to store inputted user information from the client, towards AWS database.

Designed form templates using Figma, in accordance with specifications by the executive team.

Constructed form templates for internal company usages, such as job applications and product surveys, using a React and Redux front-end.
